Vision
Gear Up Summer Day Camp has joined with local churches and built a summer day camp experience for the children in our community. Our mission is to provide relief for working parents and guardians by creating 5 weeks filled with learning, indoor/outdoor activities and local field trips. Lots of summer fun!

About US
Harvey and Rosemary Baxter founded Hands of Grace Missions and became a 501C3 after a missions trip in 2011. We have 2 full time youth centers in Solingalpa and Aranjuez, Nicaragua currently serving 200+ children through nutrition, education, medical, housing, clothing and training in The Word of God daily. We returned to Metropolis in 2017 where Harvey began ministering in our local senior care facilities later becoming their Chaplain. In 2019 Harvey came out of retirement and joined the Massac County Sheriff’s Department. Since 2017 we have had the pleasure of serving along side many in our community through community meals, family fun outreach days and community prayer. Serving God through serving our community is truly our passion. 1Peter 4:10-11
